Incorrigible is an ugly word.
But the word accurately describes our human nature.
- Denial,
- Betrayal and
- Contempt
These words are a few of incorrigible’s synynoms.
Incorrigible arrogantly asks, “Lord is it me?” (Matthew 26: 25)
Fortunately, God’s goodness and mercy trump incorrigible.
- Always has.
- Always will.
God’s goodness and mercy doesn’t behave like my attempted manipulation.
Often I pretend I’m good ‘cause I want to get what I want to get.
God’s goodness and mercy include these characteristics:
- Generosity,
- Good will,
- Unlimited love, and
- Mercy.
God’s goodness and mercy are also truthful and answer incorrigible with, “Yes, it is you.”
God’s goodness and mercy do good and that’s why today is: Good Friday.
This is a gift card for you (and me).
