I CAN’T SEE WHAT’S AHEAD
Will I resist or
Will I yield to
God’s inside work?
- Time to choose
- Time to declare
- Time to go right or
- Time to go left.
Which road is stress-free?
EVALUATING MY CHOICES
My spirit is primed and eager
“Lord let’s build three tabernacles!”
Still, I’ve lived with myself long enough to realize that my positive thinking/actions unaided can become an empty exercise.
What I desire–in my best moments—is a maturing connection with God.
THIS OR THAT?
Choosing the path that heads this way means I have to make life-changing decisions.
Choosing the path that heads that way means I have to make life-changing decisions.
Either direction I choose to go means I may not be popular with my friends
- Or the majority
- Or the minority
- Or anyone
I might have to walk this or that road alone.
SECURITY OR INSECURITY?
Following this route I may have to sacrifice some personal pleasure.
Following this route I won’t be able to do things my way.
Is this worth it?
- I prefer (ho-hum) routine (because its familiar)
- I don’t like pain.
- I prefer getting along
- I don’t like conflict.
- I prefer safe.
- I don’t like risk.
Right means uncertainty
Left means self-reliance.
DARING TO GO RIGHT
- The right choice leads to joy
- The right decision offers treasure
- The right choice result in peace
- The right decision is worth it.
So, what is there to decide really?
Will I go God’s way?
Yes or No?
- I choose Yes
- I choose Life.
- I choose cooperation with God’s Holy Spirit.
What are you going to do?
A few points to ponder while standing at a crucial point:
“Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. (Jesus, Luke 13:24);
“Only God gives inward peace, and I depend on him.” (Psalm 62: 5);
“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” (Isaiah 30:21).
