For whatever reason storms happen.
Sometimes I remember during a storm to calm myself.
In these storm moments as I reflect on the majesty of God, God quiets my anxiety and my loss of self-control.
I hear the Lord whisper, as a mother to her distressed child, “Shh, I’m here.”
If—or when—you feel out of control it’s a chance to know God hasn’t abandoned you.
Psalm 46:10 says it well, “Be still and know that I am God.”
Allow Jesus to fill you with the assurance of His presence.
“I am not intimidated by this storm!”
And try these songs for additional relief and peace of mind.
Perhaps through these songs you’ll hear the Holy Spirit say,
“Peace, be still.”

- “Open the Eyes of My Heart” Maranatha
- “Through it All” Darlene Zschech
I believe the Almighty uses music to pull us toward Himself.
Don’t be afraid to
It works doesn’t it?
It just did (again) for me.
Awesome isn’t it?
Tell your friends.
