With recent distracting events in various places many have been forced to re-focus on what life is about. Here’s my take.
I’m sure you’ve wondered and asked: What is life about?
Well, actually, it’s about God rescuing us, isn’t it?
It’s the Exodus story, right?
It’s about God delivering us from the cost and captivity of sin.
I’m saying until God did something we were trapped in despair without any hope of change.
So God did something about our misery by sending someone like Moses—yet different from Moses—to cure our heartache.
Jesus saves us from sin’s total massacre.
Making Healing Possible
Yesterday, Moses sprinkled lamb’s blood on the doorposts to ransom the Hebrews from death.
Today, Jesus’ shed blood on the cross is able to ransom us from eternal death.
We no longer have to be victims of sin because our champion has come.
- Jesus is the sprinkled blood on the doorpost.
- Jesus is the one to put our trust in to free us from slavery.
- Jesus rescues us from eternal death.
- Jesus replaces hopelessness with hope.
- Jesus gives life.
The life and hope of Jesus offer deliverance from our agony.
This is Good News, right?
Exodus is real.
Salvation is here!
This is what life is about.
